SimplyOne technology is the culmination of decades of product development, continuous improvement and superior expertise in pulp processing. The product development has been led by PR Pulping Oy's technology director Jouko Hautala.
”I was designing a new fine screening technology for pulp processing already in the late 1980s in the employ of the Tampella. The SimplyOne concept has been developed step by step for more than two decades, which means that we can't really talk about a completely new technology, but a technology that has developed over the years. Thanks to that, the commissioning of SimplyOne is not associated with the same uncertainty as it usually is the case with new technologies”, emphasizes Jouko Hautala.
SimplyOne is ingeniously simple. In the traditional processing of recycled fibers, for example, raw material disintegration, HC-cleaning, coarse screening, reject washing and separation of heavy rejects each is performed with separate equipment. In the SimplyOne concept, all process steps take place inside one horizontal container meaning that one device can perform many tasks which traditionally requires numerous separate equipment.
Since equipment, pumps, motors and mixers are needed less than before, the technology is very energy- and space-efficient and an inexpensive solution for processing recycled fiber. On top of that, SimplyOne contains technological solutions that result in a very high fiber yield.
